Senior Configuration Analyst

Senior Configuration Analyst – McKinney, TX, USA Location McKinney, TX, United States Responsibilities Apply and administer established Configuration Management (CM) procedures and processes for Configuration Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, and Configuration Verification and Audits. Coordinate configuration documentation, change requests, initial releases, and changes to the configuration baseline, ensuring status accounting integrity. Maintain the Technical Data Package and participate in the review/disposition of configuration documentation. Conduct or lead configuration audits, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure compliance with CM plans, command media, and contractual obligations. Ensure integrity of configuration documentation supporting reviewers (engineering, quality, support, manufacturing) and that customer requirements are implemented. Establish and maintain product baselines while ensuring data accuracy across systems and tools throughout the product lifecycle. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 8 years of relevant experience in Configuration Management. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel). Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Government defense contracts, specifications, and instructions. Experience related to Configuration Management and customer support. Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self‑starter, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non‑technical disciplines. Proactive interface with teams. Security Clearance U.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret clearance). Active and existing clearance is required after day one.
