Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) Location: Rockland, Massachusetts Company: South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) to join our dynamic care team at South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland! As a valued member of our team, you will assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department. Must be an RN. $50 to $55 an hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay. South Shore is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities Assist the DNS with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operations of the nursing department Meet the clinical needs of all residents while promoting positive resident and family relations Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions Assist with maintaining, reviewing, and developing clinical policies and procedures Oversee staffing needs, schedules, and work assignments Make rounds of each nursing unit and conduct visual inspections Ensure proper medication administration, handling, storage, and auditing Assist with reviewing satisfaction of care and services by interviewing families and residents Requirements Must possess an active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university (B.S.N. preferred) CPR certified Minimum one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long‑term care facility, or other related healthcare facility Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, and the general public Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care What we offer Competitive and Weekly Pay Holiday Pay for Hourly and Salaried Employees Overtime Pay for Hourly Employees Career Advancement Opportunities Exclusive Employer Discount Program Available for Eligible Team Members Employer-Paid Life Insurance 401(k) with Employer Match Vacation and Personal Time Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
