We're hiring a self-motivated Set-Up Technician to join our Production team.If you know your way around progressive and compound dies, take pride in a clean, dialed-in setup, and like keeping production moving, we want to hear from you.Why You'll Love Working HereA stable, family-owned company with deep roots and a 65+ year track record - no layoffs-and-rehire churn.A modern press floor with 30+ presses ranging from 40 to 400 tons, including a 330-ton servo press.Real ownership of your setups - you run the job from tooling to first-article samples.A team that invests in its people and supports you in growing your skills.A predictable first-shift schedule - home for dinner.What You'll DoSet up progressive and compound tooling and dies in punch presses ranging from 40 to 400 tons.Set up secondary fixtures for drilling, countersinking, and reaming operations.Prepare tooling for production runs - starting the strip, installing shakers, chutes, and air blowoffs, and submitting first samples to Quality.Program presses using Wintriss / DiPro controls.Pull tooling from the press and move it to the storage rack or toolroom using a forklift.Perform lockout-tagout procedures when applicable.Troubleshoot potential setup issues before bringing in toolroom personnel.Keep your work areas clean and organized.Take an active part in our safety initiatives.What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent.Forklift certification - or the ability to pass our in-house certification course.Ability to use and understand all measuring devices and gages, including the calibration process.Basic English reading and verbal communication skills.Ability to pass our company ISO, English, and Math assessments.Nice to Have3+ years of press setup experience.A current forklift certification.Hands -on experience with Wintriss / DiPro press controls.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsA hands-on shop role: standing, walking, and using your hands throughout the workday, with regular bending, stooping, or twisting.Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds.Vision of 20/40 (with or without correction) and the ability to communicate clearly on the floor.Stamina to work all assigned hours, including overtime as needed.Comfort in a shop environment with ongoing exposure to metalworking machinery, loud noise, dust, mist, oils, and solvents.Ready to Apply?Send us your resume and we'll be in touch.
