Description - What You will Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and intricate clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate and validate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and promptly prepare specimens for analysis as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, train new employees or students, and contribute to upholding laboratory quality benchmarks.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while being compliant with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout employment for continued excellence.
