Principal Financial Analyst

Principal Financial AnalystPosition Specific Description The Principal Financial Analyst will support Commercial & Industrial Business Solutions by developing business analytics capabilities and providing financial and analytical support for earnings growth, operational efficiencies, and strategic initiatives. This role will build financial models, business cases, forecasts, and scenario analyses to evaluate new business opportunities, customer solutions, asset strategies, pricing decisions, strategic investments and divestitures. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining dashboards, performance metrics, business intelligence and analytics, and management reporting (e.g., revenue growth, gross margin, EBITDA contribution, customer acquisition and retention, pipeline conversion, asset utilization, project financial performance, operational productivity, and capital investment returns). This position will partner with business unit leaders, Finance, Operations, and IT to deliver data-driven insights, performance reporting, and forecasts that support business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The analyst will evaluate and integrate financial, operational, customer, and market data to identify business performance trends, risks, strategic tradeoffs, and opportunities to improve business outcomes. The analyst will translate complex findings into clear recommendations, executive-ready presentations, and actionable plans that drive accountability and disciplined execution across the Commercial & Industrial portfolio.Job Overview Employees in this role supports Senior Management decision making via financial modeling, including but not limited to, revenue requirement and customer bill impacts, discounted cash flow analysis and financial statement modeling.
