$1958.40/week - Job Summary: The Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical manages patient care in a hospital setting, ensuring safety, effective treatment, and patient education. They collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver evidence-based nursing services and support patient recovery. Responsibilities: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients to develop personalized care plans. Provide and coordinate nursing care, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as needed. Utilize technology appropriately, adhering to safety standards and infection prevention protocols. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care procedures, documenting education provided. Report any actual or potential adverse events per hospital procedures, maintaining compliance with safety standards. Engage in self-assessment, peer review, and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and competency. Qualifications: Possess a current Michigan RN license with verification at profile upload. Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience. Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing evidence-based tools and adhering to policies and standards of care.
