CAD Designer III

Working remotely with minimal in-office requirements, the full-time CAD Designer III will develop designs for complex engineering systems and plant arrangements while ensuring compliance with design standards and industry codes. Key responsibilities Develops designs for complete and complex engineering systems, structures, and plant arrangements with minimum supervision Ensures proper dimensioning, completeness of material quantities and specifications, and compliance with regulatory and industry codes Reviews and checks calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents for quality and accuracy Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in Natural Gas facility design Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD P&ID, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Navisworks; 3D experience preferred Associate degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or specialized courses in drafting, design, and engineering practices Experience in drafting and design of mechanical/piping or civil drawings for natural gas facilities Ability to analyze data to supply information for development of recommendations and alternatives
