Director of Commercial Strategy

Director of Commercial Strategy reports to the National Vice President and leads governance of GPO and Buying Group relationships, commercial portfolio discipline, deal committee oversight, and cross-functional partnership coordination to advance enterprise commercial objectives and profitability goals.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain governance routines to improve visibility and alignment across commercial portfolio priorities
- Lead deal committee forums and develop decision-ready materials for renewals, acquisitions, and strategic opportunities
- Conduct financial and analytical assessment of customer economics, profitability drivers, and pricing scenarios
- Coordinate GPO and Buying Group relationship governance across internal teams and track commitments against enterprise objectives
- Support movement from strategy through approval, contracting, implementation, and post-signature value realization
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in commercial strategy, portfolio management, or business development
- Expertise in deal governance, financial analysis, and pricing strategy
- Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder alignment skills
- Proficiency with data-driven analysis and decision support frameworks
- Track record managing complex customer or partnership relationships at scale
