Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Hamilton Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing facility in Detroit, MI. In this role, you’ll help residents improve their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities — supporting their independence and overall quality of life.

Shift Available:

• PRN

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality speech therapy services in accordance with established standards of practice and department procedures.

• Conduct thorough evaluations and collect data necessary for developing effective treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment programs with clear short-term and long-term goals.

• Educate residents, families, and staff on strategies to support therapy carryover in daily activities.

• Initiate referrals when appropriate and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Michigan.

• COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is provided upon hire.
