Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy TechnicianCub Burnsville South on County Road 42 is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time pharmacy technician position! Pharmacy Technician team members at Cub are processing prescriptions, record keeping and stock support to Pharmacy. The position is also responsible for maintaining shelf stock to ensure maximum product availability and sales.Job Responsibilities:Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptionsResponsible for accurately processing customers' orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledgeEnsures positive customer relationsHazardous drug handlingPerforms department receiving and stockingAssists in orderingPulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptionsOrganizes and cleansMaintains Board of Pharmacy regulationsJob Requirements:Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing and writing).Ability to operate and use as needed various office equipment (personal computer, telephone, fax).Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to write and see things in close proximity (reading distance).Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.Ability to read/ view computer screens for extensive periods of time.Requires High School Diploma or GED.Must be 18 years of age and older.Good judgement is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.Physical Requirements:Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.Walking on uneven groundReaching, bending, repetitive motionsSchedule:Varied weekly shiftsWeekends requiredBenefits:Flexible schedule for work life balance.Employee discount.Weekly pay on a progressive union scale.Union benefits for eligible associates including Paid Time Off.Company: SUPERVALU Inc United Natural Foods
