The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is seeking an RN for the Mother Baby unit. This is a travel position with a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working four shifts per week for a total of 48 scheduled hours. The contract duration is 12 weeks, starting on August 12, 2026, and ending on November 4, 2026.

Job Description: Post Partum Nights. Option of 36 or 48 hours. Two years of experience preferred. First-time travelers accepted. BLS, FHM, NRP required in hand at time of submission. Six weekend shifts in six weeks or every third weekend.

• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Care of the laboring patient including high-risk conditions: pre-eclampsia, diabetes, etc. for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater. C-Sections, External Cephalic Versions.

Submittal Details:

• #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO must be listed at time of submittal
• Valid KS or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Valid Allied license in hand if submitting to allied job (please ask AM if unsure)
• 50 mile local radius, locals not accepted
• Floating: Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit.
• Modules: Modules are non-billable, all hours are factored in NBO RN average 4-6 hours Allied 2-3 hours Modules are completed onsite during orientation Modules are recorded via transcripts
