Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID. The position requires experienced nurses capable of working independently in a fast-paced, critical care environment, with scheduled nights working a 12-hour shift.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications; two years of ICU experience; Bachelors or diploma nursing degree; MO or compact license; at least 2 years of ICU experience; must have experience charting in Epic; no first-time travelers accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac skill set including hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, vasoactive drips; chemo certification, CCRN, ONS, TNCC; experience with vents, IV start, tele, and conscious sedation; Level I or II trauma experience; prior Epic experience.
• Float: Float rotation to inpatient floors and non-critical care units may be required as needed, with ratios no more than 1:3 on inpatient floors.
• Additional Information: No specific CVICU experience required. The assignment includes working in a short-term acute care facility with ample interdisciplinary support teams such as respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, and social services. The position involves caring for adult and elderly patients, with occasional float to various units, including trauma and COVID units.
