Fire Alarm Technician

Job Description

Taylored Control Services is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with strong knowledge of Silent Knight fire alarm systems. We are looking for a dependable, motivated technician who can handle installation, troubleshooting, programming, inspections, and service work for commercial fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial fire alarm systems
Program and diagnose Silent Knight systems
Perform inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA standards
Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
Complete service reports and documentation accurately
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Ensure all work is completed safely and up to code

Qualifications

Experience with Silent Knight fire alarm systems required
Prior experience in commercial fire alarm installation and service
Knowledge of NFPA 72 and low-voltage systems
Ability to troubleshoot and program fire alarm panels
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

NICET certification
Experience with access control or security systems
