Job Title: RN Neuro/Trauma ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro/Trauma ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Experience in a Trauma Neuro Surgical ICU Description: This position is for a Trauma Neuro Surgical ICU. The unit has a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1. Royal blue scrubs are required. There is an every other weekend rotation. Holidays are assigned per unit needs. The charting system used is Sunrise. This is a Level 1 Trauma center. The facility is recognized as a center of excellence for stroke care. It also serves as a transplant center and a burn center. The patient population includes those with motor vehicle collisions, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, falls, cerebrovascular accidents, craniotomy, aneurysm rupture, external ventricular drains, and lumbar drains.
