Job Description UW Medical Center – Montlake’s Roosevelt PACU has an outstanding opportunity for a full‑time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week) day shift Assistant Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse 3) to join the Roosevelt PACU team. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices. Schedule 40 hours per week – Day Shift Responsibilities Establishes and maintains credibility as a leader of day‑to‑day operations Oversees staffing Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions Develops, coordinates, and maintains various work processes that ensure successful department function Promotes effective communication among staff and patients Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps toward problem resolution Minimum Requirements BSN and 2 years of current PACU, ICU or ED/ER nursing experience An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington BLS/ACLS certification Compensation, Benefits and Position Details Pay Range Minimum: $49.23 hourly Pay Range Maximum: $90.33 hourly Other Compensation: $5.00/hour night shift, $4.00/hour weekends, $3.00/hour evening shift, $1.00/hour BSN differential, $1.25/hour nursing certification Benefits information is available at Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Temporary or Regular: This is a regular position FTE (Full‑Time Equivalent): 100.00% Union/Bargaining Unit: WSNA UWMC Montlake EEO and Disability Accommodation The University of Washington is an equal opportunity employer.
