- Experience working in varying weather elements
- Quarry experience preferred
- Experienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment
- Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
- Primary operations of haul trucks; water trucks, rock breakers and fuel truck
- Operating mobile equipment including front end loaders, haul trucks, dozers, and backhoes
- Inspect all operating equipment each shift and report problems
- Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards
- Maintain strong communication with quality personnel and make adjustment to material blends
