Facility: GSS SD Tyndall Ctr Location: Tyndall, SD Address: 2304 Laurel St, Tyndall, SD 57066, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $26.50 - $36.00 per hour Sign‑On Bonus: $30,000 Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for each resident and works within the full scope of nursing practice. Tasks include: assessing residents, administering medications or treatments as ordered, documenting resident interactions and outcomes, providing technical support to healthcare professionals, counseling residents, families, and advocates, and developing self‑care programs. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN; associate degree preferred. For positions requiring IV therapy, graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the state board. Minimum 400 hours of LPN experience or equivalent pre‑licensure clinical experience. Valid, unencumbered LPN license in the state (or multi‑state licensure).
