Details 27-bed adult inpatient Medical unit serving culturally diverse patients with acute and complex medical conditions Patients typically admitted from the Emergency Department or transferred from ICUs Clinician to patient ratio of 3-4 during days and 4-5 at night 36 hours per week on a day/night rotating schedule with every other holiday and every other weekend Rare floating may be required EPIC EMR used for charting Requirements Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted depending on site) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Minimum 1 year of level one trauma experience required Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration Additional Information Provide general medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients with acute and complex conditions Flu vaccination required with no medical or religious exemptions allowed Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping American Traveler Job ID P-749826.
