Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required; Iowa license/multistate/multistate at the time of submission
• Education Requirements: 24 months minimum experience in Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care, with skills checklist specific to the discipline as required.
• Location Requirements: Iowa
• Years of Experience: 2 years
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Iowa license, active BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum 24 months of Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience, experience with ICD and Pacemaker, EPIC EMR experience, cardiac drip/titration experience.
• Additional Information: Traveler will be required to float across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist and Iowa Lutheran, when needed. First-time travelers must have completed at least 12 months of Med/Tele, Cardiac/Tele, or PCU experience. The unit handles rhythm disturbances, heart failure, MI, CCL recovery, MS overflow, with patient ratios of 1:3-5 during days and 1:5-6 during nights. The unit uses telemetry tech monitoring.
