What You'll Be Doing: Ensure safety of all plant personnel, vendors, contractors, and visitors; manage safety and environmental processes to ensure compliance. Manage and assist operators with plant equipment and processes to maintain efficient and continuous operations. Oversee and assist with equipment preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime. Manage shift schedules and coordinate manpower coverage with the Plant Manager and other Shift Supervisors. Train new employees on safety, environmental policies, operational processes, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping standards. What Are We Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
