If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Events & Meetings to join our Events & Meetings team.Responsibilities:Plan and execute in-person, virtual and hybrid events or programs to include but not limited to: project timelines, contract negotiation, budgeting and approvals, data analysis and reporting, innovative event concepts, elevation of the attendee experience, support of agenda development, and logistics managementBuild and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to aligned business groups to ensure that service delivery is aligned and fully supports the event goals and firm prioritiesCollaborate and manage deliverables with other internal departments and external vendorsWork as part of the planning team on large scale programs to support the event objectives and logisticsWork both independently and as part of a project team to make decisions in accordance with firm policies, procedures, compliance and risk management using firm-supported toolsCollaborate with Events & Meetings colleagues to share industry updates, promote best practices, drive synergies and consistency, and foster a culture of innovation to highlight a client-centric approachAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum three years of recent experience in events and meeting planning within a professional services firm is preferredBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; high school diploma or GED requiredExperience in professional relationship building and key client/stakeholder managementStrong communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by client focus and teamwork; able to ideate, create, plan, and execute executive-level events consistently meeting and exceeding key stakeholder event objectivesProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; event experience or knowledge is preferredAbility to travel as needed.
