Sr. Mortgage Loan Closer | Kansas City, MO Direct Hire| $65-75K LHH is partnering with a well-established financial institution is seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Closer to join its growing mortgage operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing residential mortgage closings from final approval through funding while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a mortgage professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working cross-functionally with title companies, underwriters, loan officers, and borrowers, and has a strong understanding of mortgage regulations and closing requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, review, and finalize mortgage closing packages for residential loan transactions.
• Verify that all underwriting conditions have been satisfied prior to closing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and company lending requirements.
• Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, borrowers, loan officers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely closings.
• Review Closing Disclosures, settlement statements, title commitments, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Manage funding requests, wire transfers, and post-closing documentation requirements.
• Resolve documentation discrepancies and ensure all loan files are complete and audit ready.
• Maintain detailed records and provide proactive communication throughout the closing process.
• Meet established service-level agreements and closing deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of mortgage loan closing experience, preferably in a senior-level capacity.
• Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and portfolio loan products.
• Thorough understanding of TRID, RESPA, and mortgage compliance requirements.
• Experience reviewing title work, funding packages, and closing documents.
• Proficiency with mortgage loan origination systems such as Encompass or similar platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
