Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will lead a classroom of students through a successful school year by creating and implementing an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with school and state standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a classroom curriculum that aligns with school and state standards
• Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Prepare and organize instructional and learning materials
• Assign, review, and provide constructive feedback on homework and classwork as appropriate
• Take and maintain accurate student attendance records
• Assess student performance and provide meaningful feedback
• Document and monitor students’ academic and developmental progress
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to promote a safe and supportive learning environment
• Report and document behavioral incidents in accordance with school policies

Qualifications

• Valid state-recognized teaching credential ( CDA, TCC, Associate Degree, or higher )
• Previous teaching experience ( K–12 preferred )
• Strong understanding of child development principles and effective classroom management strategies
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines with the ability to strictly adhere to policies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
