Oasis Thrillhouse in Marion, IL is looking for passionate Cooks to join their team! This is a unique opportunity to bring your culinary skills to an iconic brand and help fuel the spirit of riders and enthusiasts alike. If you love great food and great culture, this is the place for you! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to order with consistency and quality
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards in all kitchen operations
- Set up and break down workstations at the start and end of each shift
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food service
- Adapt to varying volume levels during events, weekends, and busy periods
- Prior experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
