Job Details Location: CHA Cambridge Hospital Category: Allied Health Department: Heart Station Job Type: Full time Union: Cambridge Laborers 380 Shift Length: 8hr or 10hr shifts Shift Times: 6:30am-5pm or 7:30am-4pm Hours/Week: 40.00 Weekend & Holiday On Call: Rotating on‑call (8am-4pm on weekends/holidays) Sign On Bonus: Up to $10K for newly hired staff Department Description The Cardiovascular Department at Cambridge Health Alliance provides a full range of tests to evaluate the health of a patient's heart and blood vessels. As an Echocardiography Accredited Facility, the lab utilizes state‑of‑the‑art equipment for services including Echocardiograms, Electrocardiograms (EKG), various stress tests, and vascular testing. The lab also offers Holter and Cardiac event monitors and runs a device clinic for in‑person and remote checks on pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders. These services are available at two locations, Cambridge Hospital and Everett Hospital. Responsibilities Perform a broad spectrum of non‑invasive cardiovascular tests to provide data for diagnostic purposes. Conduct cardiovascular 2‑D imaging, color flow, spectral display, continuous and pulsed wave Doppler, exercise/pharmacologic stress, harmonics and contrast imaging, and Holter scanning. Recognize adequate vs inadequate data collection and prepare a preliminary report presentable for physician interpretation. Recognize abnormalities and life‑threatening findings and report to physician or nursing unit as indicated. Document notifications as part of Quality Improvement activities. Requirements Education/Training: Accredited Allied Health Program, registry eligible. Certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider. Work Experience: Previous clinical background required.
