Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients across an assigned shift
• Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and informed by patient and family input
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate delivery of patient care across all applicable age groups
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff in accordance with their clinical competence and legal scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during orientation (all departments except Obstetrics and NICU)
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months required; recent Cerner experience also required
• Each submitted work history entry must identify the charting system used

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
