Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Supervisor

Position Information This position is full time, days. The shift will be either 5-8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday or 4-10 hour shifts, Tuesday-Friday, supporting Methodist Hospital, University Hospital, and Riley Hospital for Children. There will be some call. Preferred candidates will have CNIM certification. New Hire Bonus New Hire Bonus available for those who qualify! Job Responsibilities Works with the Manager and/or Director, and is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel. Supervises Neurophysiology personnel involved in EEG, EMG, EP, IONM. Ensures department rules, regulations, procedures and protocols are properly followed. Qualifications 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience. Registry in EEG (R.EEG T.) and one of the following: CNIM or CLTM by ABRET. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Ability to recognize neurological compromising conditions and communicate those conditions to assure appropriate actions are taken. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of software applications. Manual dexterity; visual acuity; and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions to properly and effectively administer tests and perform neurophysiologic monitoring. On-call duties. Flexible coverage when needed. Preference for registry in both CNIM and CLTM. Preference for registry in Evoked Potentials (R.EP T.).
