Logistics Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations. Experience with TMS, ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, or similar logistics software preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations preferred. Experience in CPG, food manufacturing, or warehouse operations a plus.

Logistics Coordinator Job Duties & Responsibilities

Manage daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipment tracking. Enter, update, and verify orders in TMS, ERP systems, and spreadsheets. Schedule carrier pickups, deliveries, and warehouse appointments. Maintain accurate shipment records, logistics dashboards, and transportation data. Monitor shipment status and communicate updates to internal teams and partners. Review and maintain shipping documentation, including BOLs and PODs. Resolve transportation, scheduling, and delivery issues to ensure on-time shipments. Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, 3PL partners, and cross-functional teams.
