Supply Chain Coordinator - External Suppliers

Manage purchase orders for subcontracting vendors, including creation, tracking, revisions, and closure. Coordinate and monitor work-in-process sent to and received from subcontractors. Serve as the primary contact for assigned subcontractors regarding operational, commercial, and performance matters. Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, and other stakeholders. Collect, validate, and integrate subcontractor feedback into planning and ERP/MRP systems. Manage supplier compliance and risk tools. Lead onboarding activities for new suppliers, including system setup, documentation, compliance approval, and production readiness. Develop and review subcontractor KPIs and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. Identify and elevate supply risks, delays, and performance gaps and propose mitigation plans. Support improvements to subcontracting processes, cost, lead time, and operational efficiency. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred. 1–2 years of experience in procurement or planning preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills required for collaboration with internal and external partners. SAP experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, required. Understanding of purchasing and inventory concepts, practices, and procedures. Travel may be required.
