Join us!\n Job Summary and Qualifications\n \n \n As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) unit, you will provide leadership which facilities the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.\n · You will oversee the delivery of patient care for a group of patients and direct patient are based on patient acuity and staff availability.\n · You will provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes indicated to adhere to legal, ethical and competency level of staff.\n · You will collaborate and consult with patients, colleagues and interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired outcomes.\n \n \n · You will provide education for self, staff, colleagues, patients and/or families.\n \n What qualifications you will need:\n \n Required Education: Associates Degree of Science in Nursing\n Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree\n Required License/Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON\n Required Experience: Must have one year of nursing experience\n Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider\n NRP must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date\n Preferred License/Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty\n \n \n Benefits\n \n Mission Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
