Travel Physical Therapist - $2,316 per week

Job Overview Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a contract assignment in Jasper, Georgia. The assignment is 13 weeks, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting ASAP. Responsibilities The Physical Therapist will assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential. They will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Other duties include setting realistic and achievable goals, documenting and recording patient condition, educating patients and families on physical therapy methods, developing a plan of care for each patient, providing skilled physical therapy services/interventions per physician orders, assessing patient needs, planning, evaluating, and modifying care, and collaborating with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals. Requirements Graduation from an accredited school. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT, or actively applying for licensure. Current CPR certification. Ability to develop a plan of care and provide skilled therapy services per physician orders. Competence in assessing patient needs and modifying care to meet goals.
