Travel Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown RN - $2,565 per week (Hiring Immediately)

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Day or Night Shifts Available HIGHLIGHTS: 2 years of previous stepdown experience [required] At least 1 travel contract completed [preferred] State license IL[required] IA on offer[required] Not an employee of UnityPoint in the last 12 months [required] Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, Drains, Central Lines [required] Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban. Some titration. [required] Profile should include: Driver’s License [required] Work history/resume [required] Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date) [required] License verification [required] Copy of required certifications References - 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission [required] ADDITIONAL DETAILS: This unit has historically maintained a 1:7 patient ratio. The high volume of open travel needs are a direct response to fix this ratio the more travelers who fill the vacancies, the lower the ratio will be. 36 or 48 hours weekly guarantee 8, 10, or 13 week contracts MORE INFORMATION: The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Summer Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) ORIENTATION SCHEDULE 2026: 09/08(Tuesday), 09/21, 10/05, 10/19, 11/02, 11/16, 11/30, 12/14, 12/28 Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility.
