Contractor Stretcher Transport Driver – Part Time

Location: New Port Richey, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Seminole Pay: $18/hr + Per-Trip Incentive Schedule: Saturday (Daytime)

About the Role

My MediRides is seeking reliable and compassionate Stretcher Transport Drivers to safely transport patients to medical appointments, dialysis, and therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

Safely transport patients to and from appointments

Provide professional, courteous service at all times

Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle issues

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies

Maintain confidentiality of customer information

Report any moving violations to supervisor immediately

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of verified driving experience

Valid state driver’s license

2+ Years prior stretcher transport experience is preferred

Having EMT-B, Paramedic certification is preferrable

At least 30 years of age

Live within 30 minutes of job location

Pass background, drug screening, MVR check.

Able to lift/pull up to 50 lbs, bend, and climb in/out of vehicles

Comfortable using GPS/technology

English fluency (read/write/speak)
