Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a real difference supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This in-person role is based in Port Orchard, WA, with four positions available working across various grade bands depending on qualifications and school needs. As a contract Occupational Therapist, you'll deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, helping them access their education and grow to their fullest potential.

Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
• Current Washington Occupational Therapy license.
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to start.
• Relevant experience in school-based OT settings is preferred.
• Adaptability to serve different grade levels as needs arise.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions in accordance with student needs.
• Serve as a vital member of multi-disciplinary school teams, collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers.
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with all local and state regulations.
• Support students’ participation in school routines and activities, focusing on functional outcomes within the educational environment.
• Consult with staff and caregivers regarding adaptive strategies and equipment for student success.
• Travel to multiple school sites as needed within the district.
