Job Summary:
Geisinger, one of the premier tertiary medical systems on the east coast, serving the northeast and central Pennsylvania regions, is recruiting an OBGYN Generalist to join the team at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
• Join a robust team of OBGYN physicians, Laborists, Midwives and Advanced Practice Providers
• Enjoy a balance of obstetrics and gynecology
• Clinic is every other business day (approximately 11 days/month)
• Five days of on-call per month/24-hour shifts plus a recovery day following call
• Midwives available 12 hours per day
• Average of 2,000 deliveries per year; supported by a level III NICU

ABOUT GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER (GCMC): GCMC has been a part of the Geisinger family since 2012. GCMC provides high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents throughout Lackawanna County and northeastern Pennsylvania. Located in Scranton, GCMC has the only Level II trauma center and electronic intensive care unit in Lackawanna County, providing care for the most seriously ill and injured patients. The professionals at GWV provide high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents of northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. Located just outside of Wilkes-Barre, GWV is home to a Level II trauma center to provide care for the most seriously ill and injured patients, as well as services in more than 50 specialties and subspecialty areas.
