Lead CT Technologist / Radiology Technologist – Red Oak Free-Standing Emergency Department, Medical City Arlington Shift: Full-Time, Days, Weekdays Only Job Summary and Qualifications The Rad/CT Tech Lead works in conjunction with the Imaging Manager, Director and Medical Staff to improve patient flow by providing support, education, and leadership to the technical staff. The role also performs CT procedures in accordance with state regulations and departmental protocols, including neurological, oncologic, and cardiac services. Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CT area of the Imaging Department. Demonstrates knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment and policies essential to job performance, including neurological, oncologic and cardiac services. Collaborates with other department leaders to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives. Coordinates staff activities and patient scheduling. Maintains and achieves daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management. Prioritizes work and meets deadlines. Communicates effectively both verbally and written. Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing medication management orientation and as required to perform assigned duties. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting employment. (ARRT-R) Radiography credential. (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
