Business Analyst - Cloud with APD Experience Client: Citizens Insurance Project: Daptix Location: Hybrid (Florida) Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (BA) with expertise in Cloud-based solutions and Advanced Product Development (APD) to support the Daptix project at Citizens Insurance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, experience working in hybrid environments, and a deep understanding of insurance and product development workflows. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to cloud migration and APD initiatives. Document functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, and user stories. Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for development teams. Act as a liaison between business users, cloud architects, and development teams. Conduct gap analysis and support data mapping activities for cloud-based transformations. Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthroughs. Maintain clear communication with project managers and leadership regarding project status and risks. Support change management and training initiatives as part of APD adoption. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst. Proven experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands-on experience in Advanced Product Development (APD) methodologies. Prior experience in insurance domain (P&C insurance preferred). Strong understanding of business process modeling and agile methodologies. Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Excel. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (onsite presence required in Florida periodically). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Daptix platform or similar data analytics tools.
