At VHC Health, we are always striving to provide continued excellence and growth for our employees as well as top notch care for our patients and that is made clear with our recent accomplishments!Job DescriptionPurpose & Scope:Responsible for cleaning and decontaminating medical equipment and instrumentation; preparing sterile procedure trays and equipment; operating steam, low temperature sterilizers, and any other type of sterilization equipment used within CSP; maintaining sterile / clean storage/ and all other department areas; answering phone and service door; delivering requested items; completing all required documentation on activities; maintaining the standards of the organizations mission, goals, and safety behaviors; and assisting in other areas as requested. Participate in the training and in- service programs for staff, and students. Assumes responsibility and accountability at all times for quality performance and represent the CSP department in a positive and professional manner at all times.Education:High school diploma or equivalent and an accredited course on central service technician training are preferred.Experience:Two years of sterile processing experience is preferred.Certification/Licensure:Certification in sterile processing is preferred.Additional Job DescriptionAt VHC Health, every role contributes to exceptional care, better outcomes, and stronger communities.
