We are looking for a chip truck driver to join the Sutco Usa team in Priest River ID. Position Benefits

• Driver rate: $26.03/hour based on trip rate (before bonuses and other incentives)
• Reliable year-round, Monday to Friday work that gets you home every day
• 4 paid 8 hour holidays per year
• 24-hour dispatch team
• Weekend work when available
• Paid chaining up is paid at $17 per chain up
• Safety & performance bonuses
• Direct deposit pay, twice monthly
• Training paid at $16.28 plus overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, road worthiness and regulatory compliance.
• Load and unload wood residual fiber products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure safe transportation of freight by securing goods while loading and unloading.
• Tarp vehicle using manual or auto tarps as available.
• Chain-up vehicle based on road conditions.
• Complete all electronic records regarding working hours, vehicle status and maintenance records using the industry's best fleet management system, ISAAC.
• Ensure trucks are left clean and safe at the end of each shift.

Required Qualifications & Skills

As a member of the Sutco Usa team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

• Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• 2 years of trucking experience preferred
• Winter mountain driving experience preferred
• Clean driver's abstract (please attach with the application)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug & alcohol testing.
• Ability to enter Canada for work purposes (COVID-19 vaccine no longer required to enter Canada)
