Contract Occupational Therapist
Discover an exciting opportunity as a contract Occupational Therapist providing essential early intervention services in the Flint, MI area. This full-time role focuses on delivering home-based therapy to children aged birth to three years, supporting their growth and development within their natural environments. As part of a dedicated home visit program, you will utilize your expertise across a variety of settingsincluding healthcare, school, and teletherapyhelping families and children reach important milestones. This assignment starts on November 13, 2026, and continues through March, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community while expanding your clinical skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Michigan OT license
- Experience or knowledge in school-based occupational therapy, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy strongly preferred
- Passion for working with infants and toddlers (birth to age three)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services during home visits for children in early intervention (birththree years old)
- Develop and implement customized care plans in partnership with families
- Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic support
- Document progress and adapt strategies to meet each child's unique needs
- Communicate clearly with parents, caregivers, and educators
