Provide timely and excellent beverage service to our guests while fostering a relaxing and fun atmosphere. Assist co-workers in offering the best experiences possible to restaurant guests, supporting the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation. Part-time and full-time year-round positions available!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests
• Create bonds with locals and regulars
• Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars
• Complete steps of service for bartenders
• Promote The Osthoff Resort's service principle by examplerespond to/resolve guest inquiries, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner. Make sure to inform a team leader of any problems.
• Prepare drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes
• Maintain bar in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparations and promotions of beverages
• Be knowledgeable about beverage products to assist guests with choices
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar
• Counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas, and surrounding areas to the bar
• Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager
• Assist in the checklists at the beginning/end of each shift with the team
• Including polishing, cleaning, and prepping
• Restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
• Complete proper end-of-day reports
• Sales Reports, Financial Reports, Tip Reports
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma
• Must be 18 years of age
• Have Bartending License
• Strong customer/guest service skills
• Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes
• Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate the POS
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Must possess a positive attitude as a contributor to a diverse work environment
• Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor towards guests and other team members
• Must have an outgoing, cheerful, and fun personality along with a professional attitude
• Must have the willingness to go above and beyond what is expected to create meaningful guest experiences
• Ability to take care of customers' needs while following company procedures
• Be able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Possess great time management skills, with the ability to think on the spot
• Ability to learn quickly and accurately
