About the Role

Join our esteemed Hospital Medicine program as a full-time Nocturnist Hospitalist in Erie, Pennsylvania. This fulfilling role allows you to provide care for a varied and intricate patient demographic at a prominent regional referral center serving northwest Pennsylvania. You will collaborate with a supportive team of seasoned hospitalists, backed by dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), strong physician leadership, and established clinical programs. Work Schedule

• Block Schedule: 4 on, 6 off (12-hour shifts)
• Closed ICU
• Only Trauma Center within a 100-mile radius
• Integrated Epic EMR system
• Annual hospital patient volume: approximately 26,900
• Daily support from Advanced Providers (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
• Collaborative nocturnal coverage team consisting of five Nocturnists
• Manage an average of 8-12 admissions per shift, supported by a robust team-based care model
• Overnight staffing includes two Nocturnists and one APP for shared workload and clinical support

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or inpatient-focused Family Medicine Residency Program
• American Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Ability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials
• DEA certification
