Job Title: Dietary Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Assistant to join our team at Allure of Geneseo. As a Dietary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dietary services to our residents, ensuring their needs are met while delivering on our values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures

• Prepare and deliver meals, serving trays, and clearing the main dining room

• Wash dishes and equipment, as well as thoroughly clean the work area

• Stock the store room and retrieve stock as needed

• Prepare and distribute snacks to the nursing department

• Take out trash, sweep and mop floors, and perform other custodial duties

• Invite and arrange for families to eat with their residents periodically

• Clean and sanitize carts and equipment, and take out garbage and recycling

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to follow established dietary policies and procedures

• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures

• Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type:

• Per Diem

Salary:

• $15 - $15 HOURLY
