Assignment Details
• Location: Duluth, Minnesota
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Duration: Ongoing
• Primary Need: Scheduled surgical cases
• Call: Not required; providers willing to take call are preferred
• Setting: Inpatient
• Cases Per Shift: Approximately 4 Äì5
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
• EMR: Epic
Requirements
• Board-certified CRNA
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• No active Minnesota license is required to bid
• Must meet final Minnesota licensure requirements before practicing
• Adult general anesthesia
• Obstetrical anesthesia
• Neurosurgical anesthesia, including head and spine
• Thoracic anesthesia, excluding open-heart cases
• Complex vascular and orthopedic anesthesia
• Pain-management techniques
• Ventilation management
• Management of acute volume and blood-pressure issues
• Arterial-line placement
Preferred Skills
• Pediatric anesthesia
• Trauma anesthesia
• Availability for optional call coverage
• Pediatric training for ENT and outpatient specialty procedures

• Level II trauma setting
• 15 operating rooms
• Four endoscopy suites
• Additional specialty-area coverage
• Case mix includes:
- Orthopedics - Complex vascular - Neurology and spine - Obstetrics - Pediatrics - Thoracic surgery
• No open-heart anesthesia required
• Supervised anesthesia-care model
• No APP or resident supervision required
