Base Salary of $150,000-$180,000 plus production. As a 24/7, AAHA-accredited hospital, EPCT offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive emergency medicine—from triaging incoming patients and managing hospitalized cases to performing emergency surgical procedures including laceration repairs, exploratory laparotomies, GDVs, and splenectomies. You’ll be supported by a skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Service Representatives who share a commitment to exceptional medicine and compassionate client care. For more advanced surgical and orthopedic cases, our team also has access to a mobile surgeon, allowing you to collaborate and provide continuity of care for more complex patients. In your day-to-day, you will Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals. Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions. Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment. Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine. Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure. Completion of a rotating internship or two years of experience practicing FT in emergency medicine is our ideal candidate. Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
