Description

• Conduct evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient facilities and curate customized treatment plans for their needs
• Implement physical therapy interventions that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise protocols
• Document assessments, treatments, and progression following facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to deliver coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications in areas such as neurological or geriatric therapy are advantageous but not necessary

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desirable
