Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Prosper Behavioral Health, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources, which will inform treatment planning. Providing evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy that may include modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or trauma-informed care. Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, identifying specific goals and intervention strategies. Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care that addresses all facets of a patient’s health. Offering crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning for clients in acute distress. Facilitating therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups that engage clients and promote community healing. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress that complies with confidentiality and legal standards. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will focus primarily on patients in a hospice setting, which involves providing emotional support and guidance for individuals facing terminal illness and their families. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate grief, loss, and existential concerns, ensuring that they receive compassionate care throughout their end-of-life journey. Our diverse clientele requires a culturally competent approach to address the varied background experiences of patients and families. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program. An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services in a clinical, outpatient, or hospice setting. Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and their families. Preferred Experience While the following are not mandatory, they are considered advantageous: Experience working within hospice care or with palliative patients. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote client engagement strategies. Expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
