Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .In this role, you will:Apply Wells Fargo Digital Banking coding practices to test-drive the creation of micro-services with Java, JUnit, BDD, Spring, Restful servicesDesign, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practicesDemonstrates strong ability to handle complex third-party library upgrades and quickly resolve dependency conflicts.Champion the development and adoption of AI tools to accelerate automation.Maintain broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborate with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for Wells FargoTranslate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organization's tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutionsExpert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practicesMaintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies, and recommend innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organizationProvide expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advise and mentor others with the goal of knowledge transfer. Will represent Wells Fargo to external industry groups, influencing industry standardsWork closely with application teams, infrastructure, release management and production support teams to maintain applications that are secure and highly scalable/available. Plan, execute, and maintain road-map in alignment with Enterprise Security standards and in accordance to established business SLAsLead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of Java web applications and Spring boot microservices development experience3+ years of experience leading multiple implementations and supporting changes to production utilizing CI/CD tools such as GitActions , Harness and HyperExecute.5+ years of Java Web Services experience5+ years of Spring experience4+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)4+ year of experience in Kubernetes, OpenShift Container Platform4+ years of Kafka/MQ Series Messaging experience4+ year of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience using monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Glassbox, Dynatrace, Splunk Observability Cloud etc,..5+ years of demonstrated ability to work in inclusive, geographically distributed onshore/offshore teams.2+ years of experiences in Behavioral Driven DevelopmentDesired Qualifications:Ability to lead a team of Engineers and Support resources across the world in coordination with multiple partners on large initiativesExperience in managing off property Application Programming Interface (API) orchestration and integrationA BS/BA degree or higherAn industry-standard technology certification1+ years of experience with GenAI stack.
