Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and completing associated paperwork. Training includes on-the-job orientation and training. Communication skills are essential for verbal and written interactions with customers and co-workers. Essential functions/skills involve basic math, motor coordination, and computer/touch screen order entry.

Work conditions include exposure to varying weather, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing requirements involve talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, working under stress, meeting quality standards, dealing with people, analyzing data, and making judgments and decisions.

Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, and crouching/squatting.
