Newborn Care Specialist Jobs

NCS POSITION: Amazing NCS Needed in Orange County at the beginning of November for a 6 Month Assignment! A wonderful growing family, visiting from the East Coast, is excited to welcome their third baby this November and is looking for an exceptional Newborn Care Specialist to provide daytime support in Orange County, specific location TBD. The family already has a nighttime NCS in place and would love to add an experienced, nurturing daytime NCS to their team. As seasoned parents, they are looking for someone who can seamlessly step in, provide exceptional newborn care, support Mom during the postpartum period, and work collaboratively with their nighttime NCS to ensure consistency and a smooth routine for their newest little one. LOCATION: Orange County, CA START DATE: November 2026 SCHEDULE: Daytime hours; 12-hour shifts COMPENSATION: Competitive Pay, DOE

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of professional Newborn Care Specialist and/or Postpartum Doula experience Experience working with families with multiple children strongly preferred Comfortable collaborating and communicating with a nighttime NCS to ensure continuity of care Knowledgeable about newborn feeding, sleep, soothing techniques, routines, and developmental milestones Confident supporting Mom during the postpartum period Professional, discreet, reliable, and highly organized Current MMR and Tdap vaccinations, willing to take the annual flu vaccine. The ideal candidate is warm, calm, experienced, and confident, with the ability to step into a busy household and immediately become a trusted source of support. You are collaborative, flexible, and genuinely love the newborn stage while also understanding the dynamics of joining a growing family with older children and an established nighttime NCS.
